Join us in the unveiling of six large- scale murals by a diverse, talented group of local artists, unified around the theme:
San Francisco: Its History and its Diversity

This ambitious, large-scale mural project was initiated to activate the under-utilized Hemlock Alley, as part of a public/private partnership between Chevalier Partners, the Lower Polk Neighbors, the Lower Polk Community Benefit District, the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development, and INTERSTICE Architects.

The unusually elongated building facade was split into six separated panels, allowing for each artist or artist team to contribute their unique talent and vision to this neighborhood.

Featuring the Artwork of:
Dray, Ali Futrell, Will Durkee and Marcus Lee, Twin Walls (Elaine Chu & Marina Perez Wong), Mel Waters, and Bahama Kangaroo (Yukako Ezoe & Naoki Onodera)

Featured speakers include: District 3 Supervisor Aaron Peskin, a representative from the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development, Lower Polk Neighbors
