BARK!let

The Myrtle Alley BARK!let is a proposed parklet will bring a much-needed dog relief-area to the Tenderloin and Lower Polk neighborhoods.  The parklet will take up three (3) metered-parking spots on Myrtle at Larkin, adjacent to Macaulay Park. The parklet will feature: 

Lockable double gate 

-ADA Accessible 

-Pet-friendly artificial grass

-Poop bag dispenser 

-Traffic-safety features 

-Easy cleaning and maintenance

-Visually transparent from the outside

-Area for dog owners to ‘perch’ 

The project is a joint effort between Lower Polk Neighbors, the Lower Polk Community Benefit District, INTERSTICE Architects, and Central City SRO Collaborative.
